Profile of: Wade A. Lange

Built upon a diversified background in the medical industry that spans over twenty years, Wade Lange is passionate about the medical sector and the growth opportunity that the sector represents. Wade's background encompasses broad experience in the areas of clinical research, marketing, marketing research, business development and general management serving the pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare sectors.

Wade created Lange Advisors following his 5-year leadership of the Indiana Health Industry Forum. His highly collaborative approach built strong momentum for growth of this key economic sector. Under his leadership, IHIF became a prominent player in the development of Indiana's life sciences sector and was a leader in the creation of BioCrossroads, new biotechnology degrees at Ivy Tech State College and Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, and regional economic development strategies. Wade was also a key industry spokesman who made frequent public presentations and was often interviewed for television, radio and print media stories that focused on growth of the life sciences sector.

Prior to IHIF, Wade acted in a variety of roles including General Manager at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. for 13 years. Under his leadership, West's Consumer Healthcare Research business unit was one of the nation's leading contract research organizations in its field. Wade started his career with Eli Lilly and Company in sales, market research and new product marketing. Mr. Lange received his BS in Pharmacy from Purdue University and his MS in Industrial Administration from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
